We love so much hosting guests who are visiting in the winter. During this time of year our most popular option is a tour to Multnomah Falls and the Columbia Gorge but we also love the beautiful conditions of the Sunrise with the Aerial Tram (and doughnuts!) and the quiet opportunity to walk around or bike around Portland if the weather works for you.
We do however have a lot of challenging weather most Februaries and this one is no different! In mid-February we had an intense bout of snow and ice, but the rest of the month was moderate. All of our tours should be operating without any major weather-related obstacles, but we will reach out to you if you have booked and weather conditions change. We never cancel for rain.

Our Silver Falls hiking tour can be tricky through the end of February as sometimes ice forms on trails. We will contact you to chat about the conditions prior to your experience if this is likely. As of this week, no microspikes or other cold weather accessories were needed. More about what to wear here!
