Our favorite time of year is cherry blossom season; Ladds 500; Halloween; and pedalpalooza! So we’re going to be hosting as many rides as possible. Most importantly of course: the pink ride!
After a last minute ride in 2025, we are back with an expanded, improved, updated and better than ever pink ride!
Friday, June 12, 2026, meet at 5:30 p.m., ride at 6:30 p.m.
As with last year, while we idealize pink bikes, there is no gatekeeping, no hard lines, no limitations to who can come to the ride (except cops, ice agents, terfs or the iof). Red, mauve, and rose bikes are wonderful; pink clothes, pink hairstyles, or pink decorated bikes are great. Pink attitudes are wonderful too. However! If you want to paint your bike for the ride reach out a couple of weeks early! We painted one of our crew’s bikes last year and it was so much fun. We will help disassemble and paint or advise you on your project. (This offer may be revoked but it seems like a good idea on the full moon.)
We will be providing pink streamers, fabric and spoke cards for the first 50 riders, so if you come ahead of time we can get you decorated. There will be pink lemonade and hibiscus tea; byo mug, bottle or cup, but if the free pile and thrift gods are blessing us we will have some pink drinking vessels. May it be so.
Ride will be between 6-10 miles and very slow paced with lots of stops and photo ops. We will definitely go by Pink Vintage and Champagne Poetry. There are no snack stops planned though we will have time to eat snacks. Stay tuned for custom snacks from our bakery-having friends.
